Mexico: Tulum & Cancun 18–20 July 2023
After landing in Cancun coming from Cuba, I took a taxi to Tulum (around 1 hour 45 minutes).
Tulum has a trendy, boho-chic vibe with many modern-style hotels and beach clubs. However, when you look closer, the quality often doesn’t match the prices and hype. It’s nice for a short visit, but nothing exceptional.
Final Verdict: It was okay for one time, but I don’t feel the need to return. For a similar beach + trendy atmosphere I would much rather go to Greece.
A decent but overrated stop in the Caribbean.
