Santiago, Chile – A Pleasant Surprise 29 June – 01 July 2023
Santiago is a nice, vibrant city with beautiful surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere.
Highlights
- I went up to the highest tower in the city, where there’s a great observation platform with panoramic views.
- Did a scenic tour where we saw pelicans and seals along the coast.
- Took an old cable car up the hill with beautiful wall paintings along the way.
One of the best moments was dining at the amazing restaurant Burago — the food and experience were outstanding.
Final Thoughts
Santiago impressed me with its mix of modern city life, nature, and good food. It’s easy to get around and has a very pleasant vibe.
Would I recommend Santiago? Yes — I will definitely go back one day. A great city to combine with wine regions or Patagonia. Short but very enjoyable stay in Chile.
