Bahrain is a small but wealthy island nation in the Arabian Gulf with a modern and relaxed atmosphere.
Hotel Stay
I stayed at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel in Manama, which offered excellent luxury, service, and a great location.
Arrival & Impressions
I arrived by taxi through the desert from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — an interesting overland journey. On the way back to Dubai, I took a short flight. Bahrain is compact, so you don’t need a lot of time to see the main highlights. The country has a nice mix of traditional Arabian culture and modern development.
Final Thoughts
Bahrain is easy to visit and makes for a pleasant short stop in the Gulf. It’s modern, safe, and convenient, with good hotels and restaurants.
Would I recommend Bahrain? Yes — especially as a quick getaway or stopover. It’s not a must-see destination, but it’s comfortable, friendly, and easy to explore in 2–3 days. A nice, low-key addition to any Gulf trip.
