Doha is a shining example of modern Arabian Gulf luxury with impressive architecture and world-class attractions.
Highlights
- The Qatar National Museum is absolutely stunning — one of the most beautiful and modern museums I’ve ever visited. The architecture and exhibitions are world-class. Highly recommended!
- I watched an incredible eagle training demonstration (see video below) — a fascinating traditional sport.
- The Doha Metro is arguably the most modern and luxurious underground train system in the world. Clean, fast, and beautifully designed.
Final Thoughts
Even in a short visit, Doha impressed me with its futuristic feel, excellent infrastructure, and cultural highlights. It’s a great stopover or short city break in the Gulf.
Would I recommend Doha? Yes — especially for the National Museum and the incredible metro system. A modern, safe, and interesting destination in the Middle East.
