Kuwait City – Modern Desert Capital 02–03 June 2023
Kuwait City is a modern, wealthy capital with strong Arabian Gulf character and a noticeable luxury vibe.
Stay & Highlights
I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, which was very nice and comfortable.
The city features huge, air-conditioned luxury malls similar to those in Dubai — perfect for escaping the heat. I did a city tour where I visited the famous Kuwait Towers for great views and walked through the traditional market (souq). Interestingly, I was basically the only tourist there.
Final Thoughts
Kuwait is not a classic tourist destination, but it offers an authentic look into Gulf life with modern infrastructure and strong local culture. Two days was enough to get a good impression.
A quick but interesting stop in the region.
