Real Fabian Hess

St Kitts Nevis Nr. 137

22–23 May 2026 | St. Kitts

I stayed at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel in Frigate Bay.
The taxi from the airport to the hotel took only 10 minutes and cost USD 25.
Right next to the hotel I found a pleasant café/restaurant called Sweet & Savory Bistro and a well-stocked supermarket (Rams Express).

After breakfast I did a gym session at the hotel, then walked over to Frigate Bay. The area has a nice beach and several restaurants, but the vibe was very local — mostly people drinking beer and eating fast food. Not many tourists around. After a while I headed back to the hotel.
In the evening I tried Tiranga, an Indian restaurant right next door. The food was surprisingly good.

The next morning I started the day with Zone 2 cardio in the hotel gym, followed by breakfast again at Sweet & Savory Bistro. The owner remembered me from the day before and we had a nice chat about travel (I mentioned I’ve now visited 137 countries).
The rest of the day was relaxed. I worked for a bit at Rituals Coffee, then went back to Coconut Grove for lunch (excellent fish burrito and sesame chicken wings).

In the afternoon I booked my flight with SkyHigh Dominicana. Warning: They charged me an extra USD 40 in cash at check-in for my carry-on. Apparently this airline is the only one doing this. The airport itself has very limited food options, so better to eat before arriving.
